	Judge Time Has Expired in Suit against Ex-Priest Orlando Sentinel (Florida) August 29, 1995 A judge threw out a lawsuit Monday against retired Catholic priest Lawrence Redmond, agreeing that the man who alleged Redmond molested him waited too long to sue. The man says Redmond abused him in a St. Augustine cabin about 1980 when he was 15. He sued the priest and the Catholic Diocese of Orlando on May 11. Orange Circuit Judge Linda Gloeckner agreed with Redmond's attorney, who argued the statute of limitations had expired. Last week, the diocese announced it had reached an out-of-court settlement that removed it from the case. But the man's Tampa attorney, Thomas Granahan, said the man's allegations may surface again in other legal battles. He said several other men also claim abuse by Redmond, who retired in January.
